I should have uploaded this ages ago but this is the recording from the Homebass Communications one year anniversary in 2001. Recorded live at Cafe Democ this special event played host to JB aka Dread Bass and Vocalist Dark Angel (Moby). The event was also broadcasted live on the Homebass show that took place live every saturday from 2000 t0 2005 on Fat 107 fm. The mix really shows how fast dnb music grew in Thailand since its beginning’s in 97. A lot of great memories really come from listening to this mix, I hope you can listen to it and get a better idea of what kind of sounds were being played during those days. Fast forward to present day and Dnb / bass music is huge is Thailand with many crews and collectives running tings’. Its really great to see that our hometown has so many good nights going on. In 2013 we also plan on the Dubway 6 year anniversary. Please stay tuned for news regarding that session.

I am really honored to have the mighty SABRE grace the decks on this second round of madness at DUBWAY Sessions. He’s been a favorite producer of mine since my dnb days and I’m so glad that he can come drop some beats this coming saturday. Known for his intelligent and sophisticated production style SABRE has produced a full spectrum of beats ranging from liquid rollers on Shogun audio, Techy bangers on Metalheadz and even stranger then strange experimental bizniz on Darkestral recordings. I’m really looking forward to his set since hes going to drop full range of shizzle. So its gonna be a journey into dub techno, garage and dnb and even a bit of that ewww “dubstep”. Being eclectic is the kind of shit I’m hoping to steer DUBWAY towards.. pure quality dubwize sounds and not too much of that eww “D” word. I mean when a muther fucker ( who I will not name) wins 3 grammies for producing wobblers you know that shit has gone commercial! Either way SABRE is really on the forefront of cutting edge underground bass music. If you are in the Bangkok area and, are willing to brave it out on our streets despite many embassies issuing a travel warning to Thailand, please drop by to enjoy the vibes with us this saturday night.

Well this year has certainly been a year full of surprises because, since the beginning of the year the Dubway events have had to move from one club to another. As you know the old Club Culture has closed and only to re surface again at a new location. From my perspective I thought we would have never been asked by Club Culture to go back and host our Dubway nights at there, especially since the new club is trying to stick to a strictly house music and electro policy. Well lo and behold the management have invited us back to rock beats at there brand spankin’ new club. The venue is as underground as your gonna get it Bangkok. The place looks like a townhouse that some kids broke into and organized an illegal rave. This months session will be just Jo Stitch, myself and Mc Sinamon tearin’ shit up from 10 pm to 2am ( or whenever the cops come). Its going to be crazy fun because I haven’t had a full on 2 hour session in a long time , plus it would be an honor for me to pop the clubs bass bin’s cherry. Tickets are 300 baht at the door but the event is free before 11pm. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to cop a dope Tee at the other events you can rest assured that they will be on sale there. I hope every one can make it down there on August Friday the 20th. To be honest I ‘m dying to get super drunk and play some dope ass beats.. hope y’all feel like joining me
